Develop a more efficient yet safer russian swing – DAI SHOW Xishuangbanna

Dragone needed to develop a new double Russian Swing system for the Xishuangbanna Show, allowing for up to 8 artists to perform simultaneous acrobatic manoeuvers on the double swing during the show.

Analysis of the preliminary design;
Calculations to determine the more critical loading scenarios (more than 20 loading conditions considered);
In-depth simulation of the assembly using state-of-the art equipment and finite element software;
Implementation of proposed modifications to improve the capacity and safety of the assembly;
Sustained communication with the manufacturer to insure that the design remains cost-effective and respects the originally estimated manufacturing lead-time;
Validation and certification of the final structure.
